BMW iX3 M60 xDrive 2027 - estimated prices in Romania, technical data and WLTP autonomy
The Bavarian manufacturer presents the most powerful and spectacular version of the iX3 electric SUV. Called the iX3 M60 xDrive, the new M Performance version becomes the flagship of the range, bringing a higher level of performance, an optimized aerodynamic package and dedicated technological features.
Aggressive exterior design and M-specific details
The iX3 M60 xDrive stands out with its imposing visual presence. The main novelty at the front is the M Yellow Lights with yellow optics, a stylistic detail directly inspired by the world of racing cars.
The exterior appearance is complemented by a more pronounced aerodynamic package:
- M Performance Package: Redesigned bumpers with enlarged air intakes and additional deflectors mounted in the lower area of ??the body.
- BMW Iconic Glow Package (standard): Includes an illuminated front grille, adaptive LED headlights and dedicated light animations when locking and unlocking the car.
- Wheels and optional rims: The model comes standard with 21-inch alloy wheels, with special 22-inch sets available as an option.
Sporty interior and BMW Panoramic iDrive technology
Inside, the M60 version combines the comfort of a premium SUV with a strong performance-focused atmosphere.
The driver and front passenger benefit from dynamically designed sports seats with integrated illuminated M logos. The driving position is complemented by a multifunction M sports steering wheel and dedicated graphics on the instrument screens, which display operating parameters specific to the M Performance versions.
The BMW Panoramic iDrive system configures the entire digital area:
- BMW Panoramic Vision: Generous screen projected at the base of the windshield.
- 3D Head-Up Display: Three-dimensional display of all road information.
- Central display: 17.9-inch diagonal touchscreen.
To adapt the car's behavior, the driver has the exclusive My Modes available: M Sport and M Sport Plus, along with dedicated buttons on the console for Boost Mode and M Mode.

The propulsion system developed for the iX3 M60 xDrive consists of two electric motors — one on each axle — ensuring intelligent torque distribution through the xDrive system.

Production, availability and estimated prices for Romania
Series production of the new BMW iX3 M60 xDrive will begin in March 2027 at the new plant in Debrecen (Hungary), the group's first factory dedicated exclusively to vehicles on the Neue Klasse platform.
In Romania, pre-orders will open at the beginning of 2027. Compared to the positioning in the M Performance range and above the iX3 50 xDrive version, the estimated starting price on the domestic market will be approximately 98,000 - 102,000 euros (VAT included).
