Dacia announces 4 new electric models by 2030

Dacia accelerates with 4 electric models and a surprising new crossover by 2030
Mioveni is no longer just looking in the rearview mirror of Logan's success; the future is "multi-energy" and, above all, European. The Renault Group has lifted the curtain on the futuREady strategy, an assault plan that promises to transform Dacia from a champion of pragmatism into a leader in affordable electrification.
If until yesterday Dacia was seen as the "black sheep" of electrification due to its reluctance to high battery costs, today the numbers tell a different story. As part of the new strategic plan, the French concern has committed to launching 36 new models at group level by 2030, and Dacia is the central piece of this puzzle.
The Electric Quartet: Beyond Spring
The most resounding confirmation is the expansion of the range of 100% electric vehicles (BEV). Dacia will have 4 pure electric models in its portfolio by the end of the decade.
- New for 2026: The brand's second electric model (after Spring) will be launched in the second half of this year.
- European DNA: Unlike the Spring, which comes from production lines in China, the new A-segment model will be produced in Europe (most likely at the plant in Novo Mesto, Slovenia).
- "Shock" price: Dacia is targeting a starting price of under 18,000 euros, an essential psychological barrier to keep the crown of affordability.
- Record efficiency: Developed in less than 16 months on the RGEV Small platform, this model promises to coexist with Spring, while offering superior European performance and standards.
The blow in the C-Segment: The new Dacia Striker appears
In addition to urban electrification, Dacia is strengthening its "attack" on the compact segment. Alongside the fresh Bigster, the brand has confirmed a new model: Dacia Striker.
This will be a 4.62-meter crossover, described as an ingenious combination of station wagon, SUV and sedan. The Striker will be produced in Turkey and will benefit from top hybrid engines (such as the 1.8-liter and 155 hp engine), as well as electrified 4x4 versions, all at a price of under 25,000 euros.
Sandero: The King remains on the throne, but receives batteries
The best-selling car to private customers in Europe is not ignored. The next generation Dacia Sandero will adopt a "multi-energy" philosophy. What does this mean for you?
- Versatility: The model will continue to offer thermal engines (including the famous LPG), but will take the decisive step towards Full Hybrid.
- New possibilities: There are increasingly frequent rumors about a Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) version for those who want to drive electric in the city, but not have the "range anxiety" on long trips.
- "Dacia is moving from a single electric model to an entire family. Our objective is clear: two-thirds of the brand's sales to be electrified in the next 5 years" - is the message sent by the group's officials.
Key figures of the new Dacia era:
| Strategic Objective | Details |
| 2030 EV Lineup | 4 fully electric (BEV) models in the portfolio |
| Sales Target | 66% of all cars sold will be electrified (EV + Hybrid) |
| C-Segment Push | Compact models to represent 1/3 of the total sales mix |
| Brand Loyalty | Over 70% of customers return to the Dacia brand |
Dacia seems to have found the "magic formula": keeping costs 15% below the market average, while integrating technologies that a few years ago we considered "too expensive for Mioveni".
