Ford to launch 7 new models for Europe and an electric successor to the legendary Fiesta by 2029

"Ready-Set-Ford" Offensive: Seven New Models for Europe, an Electric Fiesta Successor and Power Utility Vehicles

Ford is stepping on the accelerator on the old continent and announcing a massive restructuring of its portfolio. Under the umbrella of the new strategy suggestively called "Ready-Set-Ford", the American manufacturer plans to launch no less than 7 new models in the next three years (until 2029). The excellent news for the local market? All of these vehicles will be produced directly in Europe and will be sold exclusively on our continent.

Heavy artillery in the commercial segment: Two new weapons for Ford Pro

The commercial vehicle division is getting a new lease of life through two spectacular extremes: raw power for difficult terrain and pure urban efficiency for fast deliveries.

Ford Ranger Super Duty: This is not just another trim level, but a true heavy-duty monster. Designed specifically for demanding industries and emergency services (forestry, mining, defense), the model comes with a reinforced suspension, increased ground clearance and additional chassis protection. Its performance figures are truly impressive:

  • Maximum authorized mass: 8 tons
  • Towing capacity: Up to 4.5 tons
  • Payload: Almost 2 tons

Ford Transit City: Already presented this spring, the small electric utility vehicle is Ford's answer to "last-mile" urban deliveries. Available in three body styles, it promises an urban range of up to 254 kilometers (in the WLTP cycle), ideal for circumventing emission restrictions in major European metropolises.

The rebirth of a legend and rally DNA: The 5 passenger models

Fans of high-volume cars have every reason to rejoice. Ford is returning to key segments, but with modern technology. The strategy for the 5 passenger models combines multi-energy propulsion (hybrid and electric) with aggressive design, directly inspired by the world of motorsport.

  1. Fiesta's electric successor: After the retirement of the famous hatchback left a huge gap in the market, Ford officially confirms its return to the subcompact segment. The new model will be fully electric and promises to carry forward the urban agility that established the Fiesta name.
  2. A new version of the Ford Bronco: The famous off-road model is getting a multi-energy variant. Technical details are still under wraps, but we know for sure that production will begin in 2028 at the plant in Valencia, Spain.
  3. A small urban electric SUV: A city model with a robust silhouette and lines directly inspired by rally cars.
  4. Two multi-energy crossovers: The final pieces of the Ready-Set-Ford puzzle will also borrow aesthetic and dynamic elements from motorsport, offering flexible powertrain options for European customers.

More than cars: Ford Pro becomes a "Productivity Partner"

Beyond engines, batteries and horsepower, Ford is also changing the way it approaches fleet customers. The Ford Pro division is transitioning from a simple builder to an integrated digital partner through new Dealer Uptime services.

How does it work? Each Ford dealer takes on the role of a dedicated fleet manager. Vehicles are digitally monitored remotely, and potential breakdowns are anticipated before the car is stranded on the road. Parts are ordered in advance and workshops are prepared before the car physically arrives for service.

The results of the pilot projects are already an unbeatable argument for companies: repair times were halved (by up to 50%), and 80% of interventions were proactively identified, saving businesses from huge financial losses caused by downtime.

Ford is going all-in in Europe, playing a bold card that combines nostalgia (Fiesta), tough pragmatism (Ranger Super Duty) and predictive technology. The next three years are shaping up to be extremely dynamic for the Blue Oval.
