Dacia Sandero Dominates European Car Sales in the First Half of 2026
The Mioveni-based manufacturer is marking a new performance on the continental auto market. In the first six months of 2026, Dacia Sandero ranked first in the top of the best-selling cars in Europe, surpassing strong competitors such as Tesla Model Y and Renault Clio.
Leader's Figures: 113,127 Units Sold
According to data provided by the analysis company Dataforce, the Dacia Sandero model was sold in 113,127 copies between January 1 and June 30, 2026.
Although the volume represents a 12.5% ??decrease compared to the same period in 2025, the result was enough for the domestic hatchback to maintain its first position on the European market.
The competition at the top of the ranking was tight. In second place was the electric Tesla Model Y, with 109,445 units (a remarkable increase of 59.7% compared to last year). The European podium was completed by the Renault Clio, with 107,887 vehicles delivered (-12.7%).
