Aston Martin Valhalla Spider 2028, estimated prices in Romania, technical specifications and details about the new hybrid supercar

The global supercar market is marking a milestone with the launch of the most dynamic and fastest convertible ever created by the British performance manufacturer. Building on the success of the coupe version, the new open-top variant redefines the standards of the segment by adopting a mid-engine architecture and a high-performance hybrid powertrain, delivered directly from the racing world.

Innovative design and aerodynamics adapted for open-top driving

The new Aston Martin Valhalla Spider represents the first production supercar with a mid-engine and open cockpit in the brand's history, being designed in close collaboration with the manufacturer's Formula 1 team's consultancy division.

  • Roof system: The vehicle is equipped as standard with a black fabric roof, which can be easily removed and stored in a dedicated space in the passenger compartment. With the fabric roof installed, the car can travel at speeds of up to 200 km/h. Optionally, customers can opt for a solid carbon fiber hardtop, which allows for the absolute top speed to be reached.
  • Comfort and the wind deflector: To maintain optimal airflow and reduce turbulence in the passenger compartment when driving open-topped, the engineers created a special wind deflector, foldable in three pieces and cleverly integrated into the sills. The upper air intakes (snorkels) have also been reprofiled and raised by 35 millimeters.
  • Aesthetics and doors: The car retains the spectacular "dihedral" doors with improved kinematics and windows with optimized edges for easier access. As standard, the model comes equipped with new carbon fiber Touring Seats, designed for added comfort.

Extreme hybrid performance: 1.079 horsepower and Formula 1-inspired technology

Under the sculpted carbon fiber bodywork lies a highly complex mechanical assembly, capable of delivering performance specific to the hypercar category.

  • Powertrain: The base is provided by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, complemented by a set of three electric motors. Two electric motors are positioned on the front axle to provide all-wheel drive and Electric Torque Vectoring, while the third motor is integrated directly into the new 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
  • Total resources: The combined output of the hybrid system reaches 1.079 horsepower (1.079 PS) and a maximum torque of 1.100 Nm.
  • Dynamics and top speed: The Valhalla Spider reaches an electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph), making it the fastest convertible ever created by the British manufacturer. The advanced active aerodynamics system generates over 600 kilograms of downforce in track mode, guaranteeing exemplary stability.

Availability and price estimates for the Romanian market

The exclusivity and advanced technological character position this model among the absolute elite of the global automotive industry, with production being strictly limited.

  1. International price level: The estimated starting price for such a model is around 1.1 million euros, depending on the level of customization and options chosen through the brand's dedicated configuration program.
  2. Availability in Romania: Through the network of partners and authorized dealers representing luxury brands in Romania, passionate customers can access pre-order channels for limited allocations intended for Eastern Europe. However, due to the restricted waiting lists globally and the status of a collector's item, deliveries to the few collectors in the region will be made based on invitation and nominal confirmation from the manufacturer.
