iCAUR officially presents the new V25, a global electric SUV unveiled at the Chery International User Summit

How much will the new iCAUR V25 cost in Romania, estimated prices and details for the new electric model

The wave of innovation coming from Asian manufacturers shows no signs of slowing down, and emerging brands are rapidly consolidating their global presence. After a promising debut on the Romanian market, where it attracted all eyes at the Bucharest Auto Show with the top-of-the-range V27, the iCAUR brand (a division of the Chery group) returns to the spotlight with a new world premiere. During this year's edition of the Chery International User Summit held in China, the company lifted the curtain on the new V25, an electric SUV designed from scratch with the rigors and requirements of international markets in mind.

A strategic premiere at the Chery International User Summit

The unveiling of the new iCAUR V25 was one of the highlights of the international summit organized by the parent group in China. The event, conceived as a platform for global dialogue and presentation of future technological directions, provided the ideal setting to show that the brand is fulfilling its promise to create a diversified range of electric vehicles adapted to standards outside China.

Although the manufacturer is still keeping much of the detailed technical specifications under wraps and has not given an exact date for its global commercial debut, the appearance of the model confirms the rapid pace at which iCAUR is expanding its portfolio of electric SUVs.

Robust exterior design and a practical 5-passenger configuration

Visually, the new iCAUR V25 takes on and carries forward the brand's distinctive design language, standing out with firm lines and a strong personality.

  • Boxy silhouette: Continuing the current trend of adventure-oriented and multipurpose models, the V25 relies on an exterior architecture with straight shapes, well-defined corners and an imposing presence on the road.
  • Interior space: The vehicle was designed to accommodate up to 5 passengers in optimal comfort, being optimized for both everyday urban mobility and weekend getaways.
  • Technology and technical mystery: The manufacturer has not yet revealed details regarding battery capacity, engine power, or exact range, but it is expected that the model will adopt some of the advanced connectivity and propulsion solutions already enshrined in the rest of the range.

Clear export plans and orientation towards global markets

Unlike models developed strictly for domestic use in China, the new iCAUR V25 was conceived from the beginning as a global product. The brand's strategy involves rapid adaptation to customer requirements outside Asia, which means that the new SUV will cross the continent's borders and be sold in international markets, with Europe on the short list of priority destinations.

Availability and estimated prices for the Romanian market

Considering that the iCAUR brand has already officially entered the Romanian market – where the local public was able to admire the new V27 (the top of the range with range extender, available from 51,500 euros) –, the arrival of the V25 model in local showrooms is a matter of time.

  • Availability calendar: Once officially launched on export markets, the new iCAUR V25 is expected to appear in the dealer network in Romania next year.
  • Estimated prices: Strategically positioned as a slightly more affordable or complementary model to the flagship V27, the new iCAUR V25 will target the mid-range electric SUV segment. Based on current market costs and Chery Group's pricing policy, the estimated starting price for Romania will likely be in the range of 35,000 - 43,000 euros (VAT included), a value that could become even more attractive by accessing local incentive programs for the purchase of electric cars.

By launching the V25, iCAUR demonstrates that it is building a complete and competitive range, ready to put pressure on traditional manufacturers and the established electric SUV segments in Europe.
